DeLallo Foods is an Italian food company that focuses on producing authentic and consistent food. They distribute their products all over the world in specialty grocery stores and spice markets.
The goal was to craft an identity system that tells the story of the DeLallo family and embodies their values.
Design, Art Direction, and Print Production
An identity system starts with a thoughtful logo. The mark represents the company, so it’s important that it’s telegraphic. After doing research on the company, identifying the attributes the system should embody, and several rounds of sketching, the logo that most closely aligned with those attributes was chosen.
Creating an application would enable the customer to interact with the brand directly by browsing recipes and purchasing products. As the DeLallo family shares recipes with their customer family, the customers can more easily share with their own family.
